• Shananagans • Irish and American Folk, Bluegrass, Country and Old Time Rock and Roll! The Shananagans have been a major presence on the New England music scene for the last twenty years. They continue to set standards for spontaneous and energetic performances in diversified venues. They combine a varied background of musical influences which reflect in the versatility of their instrumentation: guitar, 5-string banjo, mandolin, bass, pennywhistle, harmonica and bodran. The tightly blended vocal harmonies highlight their signature sound.
